We are hated by the democrats because we want everybody to pay their own way. We are against handouts and quotas. We are against the worthless public school system. They don't want us to armed. Like it's ok to let thugs rule the streets.

The republicans hate us because we think you should be able to do whatever dope you want to do in your own home. They talk about getting government out of your life. As long as you follow their bullshit moral guidelines, that is. They are constantly undermining the 4th Amendment in the name of The War on Drugs or Homeland Security and if you disagree you get branded as un-patriotic.

The Libertarians will never get a fair shake as long as the two major parties get all the big PAC $$$$

Yes, they are connected

Prostitution is simply a contract between two people that should be the right of every sane, adult American.
Anyone with moral qualms against such activity is in no way required to participate in such an activity.
The oldest profession will always be with us and will never be legislated away.
I have witnessed firsthand the way business is conducted in European countries.
It is ironic that our founding fathers came here to escape the repressive Church of England and we are now living with the moralistic hypocrisy they fled from.

Anytime the subject of legalizing drugs or prostitution comes up, the first thing you hear is " let the government regulate and tax it ". Bullshit.
The last thing we need is government getting their sticky, incompetent fingers in any enterprise. Libertarians believe in a truly free marketplace.
The market will insure that the entrepeneurs providing the most effecient, most cost effective goods and/or services will prevail.

The Fair tax will insure that revenue is collected not only from prostitution, but also from drug dealers, lawn services, yard sales and every other facet of our multi billion dollar underground economy.
Democrats and republicans alike are against the Fair Tax for a variety of reasons. A big one is they want to keep the Gestapo IRS in place which employs tens of thousands of bureaucrats at an enormous expense. Let them find real jobs in the private sector like the rest of us.
They also don't want to surrender the power to pry into peoples lives with impunity.

I think many people believe all politicians are liars and scoundrels because they have only experienced politicians from one of two political parties that have a history of corruption and deceit longer and more sordid than the Teamsters.

There are more options than the Republican/Democratic duopoly.

Libertarians stand on firm, rational arguments, logically defended. They do not rely on pseudo-moral codes that are vague and indecipherable. I suspect that is why many people feel there are many sides to every issue, that the world is nothing but shades of gray, that there always has to be a middle-ground, etc. It is because they have been trained to think that way nearly all their lives by people who benefit from keeping logical, rational ideology away from them.

Libertarians offer something neither party of the duopoly will ever consider: your constitutional rights.

That is a misconception. Libertarians are treated with disdain by the right, especially the religious right which gained strength with the unholy alliance of Ronald Reagan and Jerry Falwell.
A republican candidate can forget about running for anything unless he is of the correct religion and claims to be anti abortion.
I say "claims", because how they feel and act in private is often at odds with their public persona.
The Libertarians are not for legislating morality or penalizing those who don't pray to their God.
We're not pushing anything on anyone. We just don't want to see you supporting people with money that you earned that the government takes from you at the point of a gun.
